:: optimism ::
They always tell you the glass is half full, but now I'll think: the day is longer.
It's Day Three of that dratted time of year, Daylight Savings Time, when you drive home from work in the dark. I like that it ushers in winter, holidays, and sweater-weather, but I was speaking negatively about the short days. That's when he told me the days aren't shorter, they're longer. It feels like 9:00 when really it's only 8 so there's still time left to enjoy being awake. The day, in fact, is longer.
Thanks, Mr. B. We can all use a little optimism for our dark drive home.
