It's similar to my motto, albeit more upward thinking than mine: "This too shall pass."
Ah, A.C. -- and are you now a diverse person, ready to celebrate the bouquet of people you work with?
Not especially, but my dang bleeding heart was actually uplifted for being there with the presenter's talk about how we all just need to be respected.
Plus, she spoke of a couple of humorous circumstances and made a couple of jokes, so I didn't figure that she had as much of a stick up her behind that I thought she did.
A couple of verses that have been on my mind that happen to relate:
I Cor 15:58 (KJV) - Therefore my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.
Gal 6:9 (ibid) - And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap a harvest if we do not grow weary.
