Does life change need to be cataclysmic in order to be effective? They're looking at me like I should be shaking from the shock and instead I'm skipping down the sidewalk. I didn't notice the full eclipse; that is, from where I stand it's always been sunshine so I don't know why you're asking if I'm afraid of the dark. It says "Eat me" so I'm eating. The question now is, will I be growing or shrinking?

I'm thinking I'll be doing both.

Very poetic! You bring color to life through your words. Thanks for sharing. I especially enjoyed your article on "home"... home for me is my wife and kids... maybe my grandparents home in the country.

No, but cataclysm by nature has great effects.

The ambiguity is beautiful. This is a song: broadly interpretable, though no doubt sprung from the deepest, most personal reflections.

I'd like to hear you explain the parable to the disciples.

Thinking: thank you. You are fortunate to have home with you most of the time, and that they are mobile too so you never have to be too far from home. (with the exception of the grandparents'... unless that one is on wheels. :)

James: It seems the most personal thoughts are those other can also most identify with. In this case, explanation will have to come in a different venue.

But sing along, if you know the tune, because there's something important about knowing the same songs as our friends.
